Solana Launches Preconfirmation Feed Delivering Transaction Data in Double-Digit Milliseconds
Solana is introducing a new preconfirmation data feed that allows users to view transaction information in the double-digit millisecond range following submission. This mechanism delivers transaction data significantly earlier than the network’s standard block finalization.
The blockchain currently processes blocks in approximately 400 milliseconds, with plans to reduce block production times to 200 milliseconds. By making the fastest available transaction data publicly accessible, the update removes previous latency barriers that typically favor specialized trading infrastructure.

@mertback in 2023-24 this would've been 9/11 for L2 mfers solana blocktimes are 400ms (with plans to reach 200ms soon) but you can see txn data way earlier than that, on the order of 2 digit ms latency from submission now with this, we open u
