Kazakhstan Halts Black Sea Oil Pipeline Flows After Drone Strikes Hit Third Tanker at CPC Terminal
Kazakhstan will halt the flow of crude oil to the Black Sea through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium after Ukrainian drone strikes on multiple loading tankers forced a suspension of export operations at the terminal.
The pipeline operator paused loadings on Monday following a strike on the tanker Nelsa, the third attack on vessels at the site in recent weeks. Kazakhstan’s foreign ministry previously condemned the strikes and demanded an immediate cessation of attacks on its hydrocarbon infrastructure.
