U.S. Prosecutors Charge Brooklyn Man, 30, in Federal Arson Case Over School Bus Fire in Times Square
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York has charged Jonathan Strahs, 30, with one count of federal arson for setting a school bus on fire on West 42nd Street in Times Square.
Federal prosecutors will handle the case directly. A New York Post report noted the fire occurred during game coverage for the Knicks’ NBA Finals series, prompting an immediate law enforcement response at the Manhattan transit hub.
