Samsung SDS Launches Cloud Subscription for On-Demand Furiosa AI Inference Chip Rentals
Samsung SDS launched a subscription cloud service offering on-demand rentals of Furiosa AI’s Renegade inference processor, enabling companies to provision 1, 2, 4 or 8 chip units monthly on the Samsung Cloud Platform without deploying physical hardware.
The service positions the NPU as a lower-cost and more power-efficient alternative to graphics processing units for artificial intelligence workloads, according to a report citing Naver News. The rollout expands accessible domestic computing capacity on the platform.
