AMD Debuts New 2nm Server CPUs And Instinct AI Accelerators To Challenge Nvidia Rubin
AMD will introduce its next-generation EPYC Venice server processor and a suite of Instinct AI accelerators during a July 22-23 technology conference. The chips are the first to be manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm production process, featuring the MI450, MI455, and a rumored MI550 series.
The product launch positions AMD directly against Nvidia’s upcoming Rubin and Rubin Ultra chips in the AI data center market.
