Uniswap v4 Launches Permissioned Pools Hook to Enable Compliance-Checked Trading of Regulated Assets
Uniswap v4 has launched a permissioned pools hook standard that enables compliance-checked trading for regulated tokens and asset-backed securities on its automated market maker. The feature was built in collaboration with token issuer Superstate, digital securities platform Securitize, and compliance firm Dowgo, allowing institutional players to execute trades while maintaining issuer-defined controls.
The update extends the protocol’s role as broader blockchain trading infrastructure beyond open markets. The launch underscores rapid adoption of tokenized assets, highlighted by a security pool on Robinhood Chain recently posting $3.5 million in daily trading volume on v4.
