Nvidia Confirms Vera Rubin AI Platform On Schedule, Rolls Out 102.4 Tbps Switch To Microsoft And Tesla
Nvidia said its Vera Rubin AI platform remains on schedule, with major customers already testing the hardware. The company began rolling out the platform's accompanying Spectrum-6 networking switch, which delivers 102.4 Tbps of bandwidth for gigascale AI factories.
CoreWeave, Microsoft, Nebius, SpaceX and Tesla are among the first companies to receive the switch. In the same announcement, Nvidia stated that its new Vera central processing unit outperforms rival Advanced Micro Devices' Turin processor, aiming to cement its position in artificial intelligence data centers.
