US Probes Whether Russia Aided Iranian Drone Attacks on CIA Facilities in the Gulf
US intelligence analysts are investigating whether Russia provided targeting information or advanced drone technology for Iranian drone attacks on CIA facilities in the Gulf, according to four people familiar with US intelligence. Analysts have not reached a firm conclusion.
The inquiry follows attacks in March that struck at least two CIA sites, including the station at the US Embassy in Riyadh and another facility in eastern Iraq. Officials are also examining whether Moscow upgraded Iran's Shahed drones.
