SkyPilot Raises $20 Million in Seed Funding to Launch AI Compute Platform
SkyPilot emerged from stealth Tuesday with a $20 million seed funding round and the launch of its platform, which converts fragmented compute resources into a single AI supercomputer for machine learning development.
The company states that teams including Applied Compute, Abridge, Hippocratic AI, H Company AI and Nubank already run workloads on the software, achieving double-digit improvements in GPU utilization and 10 times faster time to intelligence. The announcement expands the firm's reach in the competitive market for distributed computing infrastructure following a three-year period of private product development.
