Iranian Missiles and Drones Trigger Air Defenses in Kuwait and Bahrain as Jordan Downs 5 Drones, 3 Missiles
Kuwait's army said Tuesday its air defenses were intercepting Iranian missiles and drones, while Bahrain's Interior Ministry said sirens were sounded across the country and urged residents to move to the nearest safe location. Earlier Tuesday, Bahrain's military said it had intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks, and Jordan said it intercepted five drones overnight and three ballistic missiles.
Kuwait's Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Ministry said Iranian attacks on Monday evening hit several power generation and water desalination plants for a fourth consecutive day, causing fires at several facilities. Some generating units were taken out of service as a precaution to protect equipment and electricity and water systems, the ministry said.
