DigitalOcean Raises Nvidia, AMD GPU Prices By 30% On Strong AI Compute Demand
DigitalOcean raises on-demand pricing for select Nvidia and AMD graphics processors by about 30% starting Aug. 1, citing strong demand for artificial intelligence compute. New hourly costs for the Nvidia H100 and H200 increase to $4.41 and $4.47, while the AMD MI300X rises to $2.59.
Customers with existing reserved contracts will keep current rates until those agreements renew. The cloud provider will apply the higher pricing to all new and renewed 12-month plans beginning in August.
