Ollama is temporarily halting new sign-ups for its Max cloud subscription plan to preserve service speed amid surging demand for frontier open artificial intelligence models, including GLM-5.2.
The cloud provider will add server capacity ahead of several very large models scheduled to launch next week. Current Max subscribers will retain uninterrupted access, and new customers can still subscribe to the lower-tier Pro plan.
