CuspAI Raises $450 Million Series B at $2.6 Billion Valuation

Cambridge-based startup CuspAI has raised a $450 million Series B funding round, increasing its valuation to $2.6 billion. The investment was co-led by Kleiner Perkins and NEA, with participation from Bezos Expeditions and the UK Sovereign AI Venture Fund. The round brings the company's total funding to more than $580 million.

Alongside the financing, CuspAI launched the AI Materials Foundry, a coalition of 48 partners including Nvidia, Meta, Samsung, Hyundai Motor Group and Applied Materials. The initiative aims to use the company's artificial intelligence platform to accelerate the design of new materials for semiconductor manufacturing, clean energy and advanced industrial applications.
