CoinShares Bitcoin and Crypto Products Break $8 Billion Outflow Streak With $287 Million Inflow
CoinShares digital asset investment products recorded $287 million in inflows last week, ending a record eight-week outflow streak of $8 billion. Softer-than-expected US CPI and PPI data subsequently drove $415 million into the funds on Tuesday and Wednesday, predominantly into Bitcoin.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs extended the trend, drawing $368 million across three consecutive sessions ending July 16 and flipping July’s flows to net positive after nearly $7 billion in outflows during May and June. Despite the reversal, CoinShares projects Bitcoin will remain rangebound, forecasting that a break above $80,000 is unlikely without a clearer shift in monetary policy expectations.
