Federal Judge Nullifies Trump’s $1.776 Billion IRS Settlement, Refers Attorney to Bar
A federal judge in Florida nullified a $1.776 billion settlement between Donald Trump and the Internal Revenue Service, ruling the agreement had no viable basis in law or fact and finding no genuine legal dispute existed.
The ruling also ordered Trump’s attorney to be referred to The Florida Bar for potential disciplinary action. The decision voids the purported payment arrangement tied to the former president’s personal funds.
