Korean startup Holiday Robotics raises $103 million in the largest Series A funding round in the country’s history. The capital will finance production of FRIDAY, a wheeled industrial humanoid robot currently being tested in automotive, semiconductor and logistics facilities.

The 176 centimeter machine uses wheels instead of legs to increase stability, extend operating time and reduce mechanical complexity, while focusing on dexterous hands, tactile sensing and autonomous navigation. The company targets 100 units for production in 2026.
