Morgan Stanley’s E*TRADE is completing a full rollout of spot cryptocurrency trading, enabling retail investors to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana alongside traditional equity positions. The feature is now available to all 8.6 million platform clients.
Trades will carry a flat 0.50% commission fee, positioning the brokerage’s pricing below competitors Coinbase and Charles Schwab. E*TRADE is rolling out the digital asset engine across its retail portfolio, with the firm’s digital assets head describing the expansion as a core part of its strategy to broaden crypto access.
