Nvidia has released ARDY, an open-source model that generates character motion sequences from text prompts in seconds. The tool is available for immediate testing on Hugging Face and comes bundled with code, weights, and a working demo for local installation.

The system can alter motion mid-generation using text constraints, waypoints, and keyframes without rendering delays. The model fits on systems with 20GB to 24GB of VRAM and utilizes an architecture trained on data for the company’s humanoid robotics division.
