ASML Raises Chipmaking Equipment Prices and Expands EUV Output by 30% as Intel Starts High-NA Production
ASML raises prices on extreme ultraviolet and deep ultraviolet lithography systems and expands annual machine output by 30% in 2027 and 2028, having already booked nearly all capacity needed for next year. The equipment maker is cutting the order-to-ship window for its tools from 22 weeks to 15–16 weeks to meet accelerating demand.
The pricing adjustments include a roughly 10% increase for some deep ultraviolet buyers, despite resistance from TSMC, the company’s largest customer. The capacity update accompanies a separate production milestone, as Intel and ASML completed the first high-volume manufacturing run using its newest High-NA equipment for a subset of upcoming processors.
