Korrun, an A-share listed luggage manufacturer, disclosed that a Rmb 2.9 billion fund invested its capital indirectly into artificial intelligence lab DeepSeek, acquiring a 0.8265 percent stake. According to the filing, the transaction implies a valuation for the startup of approximately Rmb 351 billion, or $51.8 billion.
The disclosure establishes a new public valuation benchmark for the company, derived directly from the price paid for the minority shareholding.
