New York Fed Buys $17.6 Billion in Reinvestments and $10 Billion Bills for July Through August
The New York Fed will execute an estimated $17.6 billion in reinvestment purchases and a further $10 billion in reserve management operations between July 14 and Aug. 13.
The $10 billion reserve management purchase for Treasury bills remains unchanged from the previous two cycles, as the Federal Reserve moves to bolster reserves ahead of expected liquidity drains later this year.
