Russian Hackers Breach Doorbell Cameras to Monitor Ukraine Aid Shipments
Dutch intelligence reported that Russian state-backed hackers compromised internet-connected security cameras and doorbells across multiple NATO member states and Ukraine to monitor shipments of Western military aid to Kyiv.
The operators exploited weak and default passwords, along with outdated software, to remotely access unsecured devices positioned near military distribution routes. Authorities have advised affected organizations to upgrade their cybersecurity measures following the breaches.
