Unitree Robotics Gets Final Approval for $619 Million Shanghai IPO
Chinese robotics manufacturer Unitree Robotics received final approval from regulators on July 3 for a $619 million initial public offering on the Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation Board. The China Securities Regulatory Commission cleared the listing, advancing one of the country’s most prominent hardware startups toward the public markets.
The company’s financials showed rapid expansion, with 2025 revenue reaching ¥1.71 billion ($234 million), representing a 335% year-over-year increase. Net profit jumped eightfold to ¥600 million, supported by a 62.9% gross margin. Humanoid robotics drove much of the growth, accounting for 51.5% of total revenue in the first nine months of 2025, up from just 1.9% in 2023.
