Amazon Prices $24.25 Billion Bond Sale at Yields to 6.25% to Fund AI Infrastructure
Amazon priced a $24.25 billion multi-tranche bond sale with yields ranging from 4.6% to 6.25%, finalizing the terms with the SEC on Tuesday after initially marketing the offering for at least $25 billion.
The proceeds will finance the company’s artificial intelligence infrastructure expansion. Amazon advised underwriters it will not issue further debt this year, while the scale of the new issue prompted investors to sell existing hyperscaler securities to finance the purchase.
