Bitmine bought another 40,000 Ethereum worth $71.6 million, lifting its total holdings to 5.74 million ETH. The latest purchase was executed 11 hours ago on exchanges FalconX and Kraken, extending a rapid period of treasury accumulation for Tom Lee’s firm.
The transaction follows a reported acquisition of 42,197 ETH over the previous week, valued at roughly $74 million. The buys now account for 4.8% of the Ethereum circulating supply, while the firm’s broader portfolio of crypto, cash, and securities sits at approximately $11.1 billion, with nearly all of its ether staked.
