New York Fed Raises U.S. One-Year Inflation Expectations to 3.7%, Highest Since 2023

One- and three-year U.S. inflation expectations rose in June, with the one-year reading reaching 3.7%, the highest since September 2023, according to the New York Fed's latest consumer survey. The three-year gauge climbed to 3.3%, the highest since June 2022, while the five-year view held at 3.0%.

The survey showed households growing more optimistic about personal finances and the labor market, while expectations for gasoline prices eased to the lowest level since August 2022.
