South Korea’s largest crypto exchange by domestic trading volume, Upbit, listed the Gensyn decentralized compute network on June 30, sending its AI-linked token up 57.8%. Trading opened at 4 p.m. Korea time with the KRW, BTC and USDT pairs. The jump, tracked by CoinGecko, highlights renewed retail demand for projects tied to artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Gensyn aims to aggregate distributed graphics processing unit capacity for AI model training. The network raised roughly $78 million in funding with backing from Andreessen Horowitz Crypto, Galaxy Digital and CoinFund. The addition to Upbit’s spot markets marks one of the first major listings for the decentralized compute layer, which operates outside traditional cloud provider models.
