Joseph Lubin and BitMine Launch Ethereum Institutional Nonprofit
Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin and cryptocurrency companies BitMine and SharpLink announced the launch of Ethereum Institutional, an independent nonprofit focused on accelerating the adoption of the blockchain and its associated networks among traditional finance and large enterprises. The group plans to operate as a neutral front door for institutions engaging with Ethereum, its layer-2 scaling solutions and decentralized applications.
According to industry reports, the nonprofit will allocate resources toward institutional engagement, intelligence gathering, marketing and compliance education. The group issued a statement warning that in the digital asset space, "neutrality without representation can be received as silence," framing the launch as a direct effort to bridge Ethereum's ecosystem with mainstream capital.
