Twelve Labs Raises $100 Million Series B as Amazon Invests and Signs Cloud Deal

Video AI startup Twelve Labs has raised $100 million in a Series B funding round led by NEA and Naver Ventures. Amazon participated in the financing and signed a simultaneous partnership deal with its cloud division, Amazon Web Services. The capital will fund the company's development of artificial intelligence models designed to make video content searchable and analyzable.

Nvidia, which previously backed Twelve Labs, joined other venture firms in the round. The funding and cloud partnership expand the company's infrastructure as demand grows for AI tools that can process visual media at scale. AWS typically supplies the high-performance computing environments required to train and deploy large machine learning models for enterprise clients.
