Goldman Sachs Forecasts Marvell Revenue to Reach $13 Billion by 2028

Marvell Technology is projected to generate $2.8 billion in revenue for 2027 and $13 billion for 2028, driven primarily by business tied to Google, according to estimates from Goldman Sachs cited by market analysts. The outlook marks a sharp upward revision as chip demand accelerates ahead of the company's ability to deploy its latest CXL switch silicon.

The revenue jump hinges on compute express link (CXL), a semiconductor architecture that allows AI servers to share memory across an entire data center rack instead of relying on isolated, chip-level pools. Goldman Sachs forecasts the CXL silicon market will expand from roughly $1.3 billion today to between $7 billion and $10 billion by 2030. Marvell currently holds the leading market share in the segment, bolstered by its $540 million acquisition of switch chip specialist XConn Technologies in February.

@milkroadmacro

$MRVL investors haven't priced in CXL yet. CXL is the technology that lets AI servers share memory across an entire data center rack instead of every chip hoarding its own pool. Agentic AI systems (running 24/7) keep hitting memory ceilin
