Foxconn, which manufactures servers for Nvidia Corp. and assembles iPhones for Apple Inc., reported a 39.8% increase in second-quarter revenue, hitting T$2.513 trillion ($78.71 billion). The figure for the April-June quarter surpassed analyst expectations, underscoring sustained demand for artificial-intelligence infrastructure within the tech supply chain.

Cloud and networking equipment now accounts for more than half of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.'s sales, according to the manufacturer. Three years ago, the segment represented roughly a quarter of Foxconn's business. The company forecast AI rack shipments to maintain growth in the third quarter, while adding a caveat regarding geopolitical uncertainties.
