Bitcoin ETFs See $222 Million Net Inflow After 10-Day Outflow Streak

cryptocrypto-markets 28 posts · 17 accounts

Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds recorded $222 million in net inflows on July 2, snapping a 10-day streak of institutional withdrawals. Funds tracking ether, solana, and xrp also posted positive flows, adding $29.08 million, $2.2 million, and $6.55 million respectively. The return of capital comes as bitcoin:native climbed back above $61,000 following a prolonged selloff.

The inflows mark a sharp reversal from June, which saw more than $4.5 billion leave spot bitcoin ETFs, their worst monthly outflow since the asset class launched in January 2024. Trading pressure intensified earlier this month, pushing bitcoin below $59,000 and triggering $320 million in leveraged liquidations. The fresh demand, concentrated in BlackRock’s IBIT fund, temporarily halts a period of heavy institutional disengagement that had weighed on broader crypto markets.
