US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Shed $1.79 Billion in Second Worst Week on Record
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net outflows of $1.79 billion in the week ending June 26, marking their second-largest weekly draw on record and extending redemptions to a seventh consecutive week. The outflows were driven by a streak of daily withdrawals that extended to seven straight days, with the largest single-day pull of $445 million occurring on Friday.
Ethereum spot ETFs mirrored the bitcoin selloff, shedding $273 million and logging seven consecutive weeks of net outflows, while solana funds lost $3.8 million. In contrast, spot XRP ETFs posted $22.99 million in inflows and HYPE ETFs recorded $111 million. The sustained redemptions have shifted investor sentiment; the average holder of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is down roughly 40% from the fund’s peak in mid-2025, following a period of roughly 30% gains.
