Federal Judge Blocks DOJ Grand Jury Subpoenas to Tim Walz and Other Minnesota Officials
Justice Department grand jury subpoenas issued to Minnesota officials, including Governor Tim Walz, were blocked by a federal judge in a probe into their alleged failure to cooperate with the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
Judge Patrick Schiltz called the subpoenas “blatantly unlawful” and said they were “no doubt” aimed at punishing Walz for refusing to aid the immigration crackdown.
