Backpack Launches 24/7 Tokenized Micron Shares on Solana Ahead of Earnings
Backpack Securities has issued a tokenized version of Micron Technology Inc. shares on the Solana blockchain with SunriseDeFi, allowing the $MU token to trade 24/7 and be redeemed 1:1 for the underlying stock. The token is also available on Kamino Swap.
The launch precedes Micron's earnings report on Wednesday after the closing bell. Backpack said the Solana-based token can be transferred to traditional brokerages, enabling around-the-clock trading tied to the stock outside standard US market hours.
