SK Hynix Targets ADR Listing After Mid-July, Plans $66.4 Billion Shareholder Return
SK Hynix is expected to list American depositary receipts after mid-July rather than in early August, with only US Securities and Exchange Commission approval remaining, according to Korean media reports citing people familiar with the matter. The company is also expected to announce a shareholder return program worth about $66.4 billion after the listing.
The ADR offering is expected to raise about 40 trillion won ($26.5 billion) through new shares, the reports said. To limit dilution concerns and potential backlash from existing shareholders, SK Hynix has reportedly cut the deal size from 2.4% of outstanding shares to the low-2% range.
