Z.ai's GLM-5.2 Reaches Together Chat and Fireworks With 44% DeepSWE Pass Rate

Chinese AI lab Z.ai's GLM-5.2 is now available for free testing on Together Chat without API setup, and developers can run it in Cursor via Fireworks, widening hosted access to the open-weight model. Together said the service is hosted on North American infrastructure.

Hosted availability follows strong coding-benchmark results. On DeepSWE, a software-engineering benchmark, GLM-5.2 posted a 44% first-attempt pass rate at max effort, leading open-source models by 17 percentage points over Kimi K2.7 Code. Earlier results put it third on FrontierSWE, a long-horizon engineering benchmark, behind Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 and Opus 4.8 while ahead of GPT-5.5.

Long-horizon is more than a concept. It should live in real-world scenarios, empowering AI builders to solve the problems that matter. And more scenarios are on the way.

Interesting that in "GLM 5.2 is on par with X model", X is so widely distributed over different capabilities, and it's not like the gap is just greater for the difficult ones. It plainly can't do some parlor tricks Sonnet 3.5 pulled off. In
