BlackRock Launches BITA, a Bitcoin Covered-Call ETF Targeting 15%-25% Annual Yield
BlackRock launched the iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, ticker BITA, on Nasdaq on Tuesday, bringing a bitcoin covered-call fund to market that targets a 15% to 25% annual yield. The ETF is designed to generate monthly option premium while seeking to capture at least 70% of bitcoin's upside.
The product offers investors an income-focused way to gain bitcoin exposure rather than solely track the token's price. Earlier filings put BITA's fee at 0.65%, below leading covered-call fund peers.
