World Series of Poker Accepts Solana Payments for Las Vegas Buy-Ins, Plans Bahamas Stablecoin Payouts
The World Series of Poker is accepting Solana payments for tournament buy-ins at this year’s Las Vegas events and plans to roll out stablecoin payouts for winners at WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas in December. Solana also said it is now the poker series’ presenting sponsor.
The arrangement combines event sponsorship with cryptocurrency payments for entry fees and, later, prize distribution across the tournament series. The buy-in option starts in Las Vegas, while the stablecoin payout rollout is scheduled for the Bahamas event later this year.
