TSMC Posts Record May Revenue of NT$417 Billion, Up 30% on AI Demand
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. posted record May revenue of NT$417.0 billion, up 30.1% from a year earlier and 1.5% from April, as AI momentum and robust global demand continued to support sales. The total surpassed the previous monthly high of NT$415.2 billion set in March.
Revenue for January through May rose 30% from a year earlier to NT$1.96 trillion, keeping the company near its full-year guidance for growth of more than 30%. The figures indicate that AI-related demand remained a key driver of second-quarter momentum.
