Zepto Files for India IPO at $7 Billion to $10 Billion Valuation
Zepto has filed to go public in India at an implied valuation of about $7 billion to $10 billion. The company, founded five years ago by two Stanford dropouts, roughly doubled revenue to about $2.4 billion last year, while its loss margin improved to about negative 26% and its user base reached about 50 million, with revenue per user also rising.
The filing would mark a major step for India’s quick-commerce sector. At the indicated valuation range, Zepto would be around Swiggy’s scale, while still below Zomato’s roughly $24 billion valuation.
