Delfin Takes $5 Billion FID on First US Floating LNG Export Project
Delfin Midstream has taken a final investment decision on the first 4.4 mtpa floating LNG unit of its Louisiana project, advancing the first US floating LNG export project. The investment totals about $5 billion.
The Louisiana development is set to become the world’s largest floating LNG facility and the first floating liquefaction facility in the US, according to the company. The approved investment covers the first unit of the broader project under development.
