HackerOne Clarifies Researcher Submissions Are Not Used to Train AI Models

HackerOne clarified that researcher submissions are not used to train, fine-tune or otherwise improve generative AI models across its platform, including H1 Continuous Testing, H1 Agentic PTaaS and Hai. The company also said third-party model providers it works with are prohibited from retaining or using researcher data for their own training.

The statement came a day after HackerOne announced new product capabilities and said its messaging had created confusion. HackerOne said it updated website language to make the policy clearer.
