The squeeze is spreading beyond lower-cost devices. TSMC's chairman said cheaper products have already been affected and that memory-chip constraints will hit higher-end devices by the end of the year, underscoring concerns across industries including automakers, retailers, electronics makers and medical-device producers that AI demand is tightening supply across the market.
