SpaceX May Need More Cash Next Year Under Goldman Forecasts as Morgan Stanley Sees $3.4 Trillion Revenue
SpaceX may need to raise additional cash next year if private Goldman Sachs forecasts materialize, according to The Information, adding a financing caveat to the company’s planned initial public offering. Morgan Stanley analysis shared with investors projected annual revenue could reach $3.4 trillion by 2040, while Goldman previously forecast AI revenue rising to $322 billion by 2030 from $3.2 billion in 2025 and total revenue reaching $474 billion.
The company has told banks it won’t move its IPO price from $135 a share, preserving terms for about 555.6 million Class A shares that would raise roughly $75 billion and value SpaceX at about $1.75 trillion. The roadshow began June 4, final pricing is due June 11 and trading is expected to start June 12 on Nasdaq under SPCX, with up to 30% of the offering reserved for retail clients and the Japanese portion of the sale increased by 25% after strong demand.
