Nvidia's Huang Meets SK Group Chairman, SK Hynix CEO in Seoul
Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang met SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, SK Hynix Chief Executive Officer Kwak Noh-Jung and executives from SK Telecom over dinner in Seoul on Sunday, continuing a series of meetings with major South Korean technology groups during his visit.
The gathering highlighted SK Hynix's importance in Nvidia's AI supply chain. Earlier in the trip, Huang dined with leaders of SK, LG Group and Naver, said meetings were scheduled with Hyundai Motor Group and Samsung Electronics, and said Nvidia planned to begin recruiting for a research and development center in South Korea while describing robotics as a potential next key industry for the country.
