Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Meets SK, LG, Naver Leaders Over Dinner in Seoul
Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang met leaders of SK Group, LG Group and Naver over dinner in Seoul’s Hongdae district on Thursday, broadening the chipmaker’s outreach to major South Korean technology groups after saying earlier that it planned to begin recruiting for a local research and development center.
Earlier in the visit, Huang said meetings were scheduled with Hyundai Motor Group, Samsung Electronics and SK Group, described the global AI buildout as accelerating and said robotics could become South Korea’s next key industry. The dinner with SK, LG and Naver adds a public relationship-building element to Nvidia’s effort to deepen its role in the country’s AI and industrial sectors.
