US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Post $2.4 Billion in May Net Outflows, Most in Five Months
US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $2.4 billion in net outflows in May, the largest monthly withdrawal in five months. Selling continued into June, with another $1.40 billion pulled in the first three days of the month, bringing total withdrawals since the start of May to more than $3.83 billion.
The pressure intensified late in May and carried into June. Galaxy Research said the funds logged a record 13 consecutive days of net outflows through June 3, totaling $4.33 billion from May 15, while SoSoValue figures cited in earlier reports showed daily withdrawals of about $484 million on June 1 and $519 million on June 2.
