Forward Industries Transfers 455,784 SOL to Coinbase Prime as Solana Treasury Strategy Shows $1.13 Billion Unrealized Loss
Forward Industries transferred 455,784 SOL worth about $31.87 million to Coinbase Prime after roughly a month of inactivity. Since launching its Solana treasury strategy in September 2025, the company has spent about $1.59 billion to acquire 6.83 million SOL at an average cost of $232.08, leaving the position valued at about $458 million and nearly $1.13 billion in unrealized losses.
The transfer does not necessarily indicate a sale or a reduction in holdings. Similar large transfers to Coinbase Prime in the past were later confirmed as custody- or staking-related moves that did not reduce holdings, and the latest correction said Forward currently holds around 7 million SOL.
