Bitwise Buys More Hyperliquid Token HYPE, Raising Holdings to $62.92 Million
Bitwise bought more of Hyperliquid's HYPE token, lifting its holdings to $62.92 million after acquiring 183,162 HYPE from Coinbase and Cumberland. Earlier reports showed Bitwise buying another 301,863 HYPE, worth about $18.43 million, over three hours.
The purchases add to a rapid buildup in HYPE-linked exchange-traded funds. Spot HYPE ETFs topped $100 million in 10 trading days and absorbed 1.04% of Hyperliquid's market capitalization over that span, according to Kairos Research, outpacing the debuts of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana funds by that measure.
